Seaton Sluice First School has a history of very positive Ofsted inspections which reflect the high quality of what we provide for our children and families.
Seaton Sluice First School is judged to be a 'good' school by Ofsted. The school was last inspected in November 2019 as part of a 'section 8' inspection. This means that a school already judged as 'good' is inspected to confirm whether they remain at this standard.
The report states:
"Pupils sing at every opportunity. Music is the bedrock on which the school is built."
"One pupil described being at school as simply 'joyful'."
"Pupils are given every chance to be a part of school life. Every older pupil is included in the school’s ‘leadership programme".
"The school supports pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) extremely well. All pupils with SEND have access to the good-quality curriculum. Their individual needs are catered for well".
